Episode 16: The Kingdom of Morgania
"One corny episode" or "The longest day of the year"

Day 257
Murlonio sails toward Lothair.

Day 267
• Murlonio pulls into Lothair and meets Lt. Braga. Lt. Braga asks them to deliver party supplies to the kingdom of Morgania for their summer festival in order to win their favor. This is deemed as an official trial of five fingers by Chester. Murlonio has very little time to get to Morgania, so they leave immediately.

Day 275
• The Ripper encounters a peculiar storm, seemingly magical in nature. After a short time, the ship seems to settle out and continues on to land at Morgania.
• The party meets a seemingly drunken man at the dock, but continues to venture forth to the town. When they reach the town, the party hears the gong of the clock tower and a gigantic wave washes over them and everything goes black.

Day 276?
• The party wakes up on The Ripper, again, to find the same man from the night before demanding them to pay the docking fee. After paying the docking fee, and scheduling repairs to The Ripper, Murlonio has the supplies delivered to Morgania and begins to make their way to the town.
• On the way to Morgania, Murlonio encounters a shabby looking man selling a dangerous looking “miracle” tonic. After turning down his offer, they continue to make their way to Morgania after helping a lady prepare her corn delivery for the festival.
• Two guards, both improperly armored, stood at the gates to Morgania. The party decides to go to the armor smith to get the proper armor for the two. On their way to the armorer, the parade starts in the town square. The mascot of the parade dances too close to a horse pulling floats, causing a stampede that crushes all of the preparations. The mayor of the town almost gets seriously hurt, but he doesn’t seem phased by it at all. Murlonio attempts to talk to the mayor, but finds that he is unavailable at the time.
• A strange series of events, including the discovery of the “mad” mayor, a failed search for the missing cargo, and a riot at the festival in the evening all lead up to the town’s clock tower tolling again as a gigantic wave hovers above the town and crashes down.

Day 277?
• Murlonio awakes aboard The Ripper yet again to realize that the day they had just taken part in has repeated itself. With the knowledge of the events that took place the “day” before, they set out to correct the issues in Morgania.
• After the problems of the city are corrected, the party speaks with the mayor of Morgania. He informs the party that he is aware of what’s happening to the town every night, as it was he who made a wish that “come hell or high water, the town’s problems be made right.” He tells the party that he made this wish with a magical item that a mysterious cloaked man offered him.
• After the festival, the giant wave that normally wiped out the town failed to appear, and the party was greatly rewarded for their deeds.

Day 278
• Murlonio awakens from a drunken night of celebration, bids the townspeople farewell, and heads back to their newly repair ship when they get a call from Lt. Braga. He tells them to return to Lothair at once as they are now officially at war…

Day 288
• Murlonio docks at the ports of Lothair.

Episode 15: The Death Mist
More than you can chew

Night 253
• That night, Murlonio gets word from Lt. Braga (who is borrowing Chester’s sending stone) that the next trial, the Trial of Compassion, requires Murlonio to travel to the island of Caliga, an ally to Lothair, to check on a disturbance. He informs Murlonio that the island is being treated like a quarantine zone to the rest of the Sea. Murlonio sets sail for Caliga to investigate.

Day 254
• In the morning, Aeo and Sark wake to find Tor missing from his bed in their cabin. They decide to go look for him, when they realize that he is in his bed after all…
• Sark learns verbs.

Day 255
• At about noon, Murlonio sails The Ripper into a sudden maelstrom, but as quickly as it comes, it dissipates.

Day 256
• At about mid-afternoon, Murlonio finds Caliga, which happens to be covered in a thick fog. The party tries to dissipate the fog, but their efforts proved to be for naught. Unsure and a little frightened, the party decides to venture forth into the island, finding in the middle of the fog covered road a dying woman with bite marks on her.
• Murlonio eventually happens upon a town which appears to be deserted. Upon further investigation, they find that the inhabitants of the town had been killed by vampires. Their suspicious are confirmed when they happened to meet up with their old friends Arthur, Mina, and Ian. Ian explains that he is on Caliga to find and stop a very powerful vampire named Elias Woodshadow who raising an army of vampires from the citizens of the island. Believing that this vampire is the source of the disturbance that they came to investigate, Murlonio decides to join Ian and company on his mission.
• Following Ian and company through the night, the party is ambushed by vampires. Leaving Arthur and Mina to fend them off, Murlonio accompanies Ian in seeking out Elias Woodshadow and ultimately defeating him.

Day 257
• Murlonio returns to the town and pays a visit to the castle. There they find survivors of the island. The king offers the party a chest of gold, but the party kindly refuses, noticing that the people will need all the resources they can to help rebuild their kingdom.
• After the party follows Sark’s order to “berry womin,” the one they came across when they first landed on Caliga, the party sets sail for Lothair.

Episode 14: A Knight of Snakewater

Day 248
• In the morning, the party (now named “Murlonio”) receives another message from Chester. He informs Murlonio that in order to complete the next Trial of Five Fingers, the Trial of Honor, Murlonio must become knighted by a kingdom other than that of Lothair. Chester then informs Murlonio that going to an unknown island named Snakewater and doing whatever an “old man that smells like death” tells them to do there will help them accomplish this.
• While sailing on The Ripper toward Snakewater, Alexyn and Aeo successfully teach Sark parts of Common language (nouns).

Day 252
• Murlonio arrives to Snakewater and encounters Bill, an old man who smells horrible. He informs Murlonio that the kingdom of Snakewater has been stricken by poverty, disease and decay. Bill then asks Murlonio to go into the castle town and help out as many people as they can.
• As Murlonio enters the town, they help a member of the town lift empty coffins into a wagon, which drives the rest of the community to create a list of things they need help with. Murlonio then divides as much of the tasks as they can between them.
• After completing numerous tasks for the community of Snakewater, Bill leads Murlonio to the castle throne room. He sits on the throne and reveals himself to be King Rufus Xavier III of Snakewater, explaining that he dresses like a commoner to directly interact with the community and help out as much as he can. Xavier then tells Murlonio that he wishes to knight them, but first they need to challenge his first knight, Brennan Poe.
• Murlonio challenges Brennan Poe, but he appears to have a deathly aura around him. Murlonio is ultimately defeated and knocked unconscious.
• Returning to consciousness, Murlonio finds themselves in the home of Brennan, where he offers them dinner and a place to sleep for the night. Murlonio accepts Brennan’s generous offer and rests for the night.

Day 253
• Murlonio wakes in Brennan Poe’s home. Brennan informs Murlonio that they need to leave his place so he can handle some business. Murlonio decides to have Zebadiah trail him, disguised as the local lunatic, Crazy Gus. Upon trailing Brennan, Murlonio finds a strange old man in a crypt who reveals himself as Death. Through the words of Death himself, Murlonio discovers that Brennan is cursing the island with the power of death, and in order to strip him of his powers and rid the island of its plague, one of Murlonio must sacrifice his/her life. After much deliberation, Tor decides to give his life to save Snakewater, but Death decides that taking his life at that moment is a mistake. After a few minutes, Death resurrects Tor and marks him for a later time.
• After returning to the castle town, Murlonio challenges and defeats Brennan, who is then taken by Death.
• The king, who finally knights Murlonio, shows his gratitude with some items: Vengeful Dagger, Healer’s Sash, Steadfast Boots, and Laughing Death Armor as Murlonio sails off on The Ripper. Murlonio informs Chester that they have completed the Trial of Honor, to which Chester replies with congratulations and informs them that there is someone with him who wants to speak with them…

Episode 13: The Tale of Munchy
Don't go chasing waterfalls...

Day 247
• The party wakes and goes to breakfast, during which the party is both contacted by Chester via Sending Stone and given a parchment from a disguised kobold messenger that entered the tavern. Chester informs the party that they are to follow the clues written in the poem found on the parchment which will lead them to an ancient kobold treasure. The poem, translated into common, was a story written by a crafty kobold named Munchy, who had previously journeyed to find this treasure. Upon finding the treasure, the party will have completed the next Trial of Five Fingers: The Trial of Cunning.

• The party used the poem’s lines to find there way to an underwater dungeon in Limberry Lake. The party then carefully makes their way through the dangerous dungeon, complete with booby-traps. As the party finally reaches the end of the dungeon, they realize the treasure Munchy’s poem led them to find was in fact Queen Adelaide’s heart-sequined brazier…

• After informing Chester that they have found his “treasure,” the party heads back to Bervenia Port City. Upon arrival, Zebadiah craftily sells the stolen brazier to Sneaky Pete. Chester informs the party he will give them their next trial on the morrow.

Episode 12: The Two Masters
Once Slit, Twice Smithen

Day 223
• The party sets out to Lamina Island aboard “The Ripper” to find the Blademaster.

Day 224
Sark masters his ABC’s.

Day 230
• The party arrives at Lamina Island and finds a man known as Ferrus, the Blademaster. The party challenges him to a duel, and he agrees to fight them the next morning. The party is permitted to sleep outside the Blademaster’s home in order to rest up for the next day.

Day 231
• The Blademaster turned out to be the old veteran’s daughter, Harper. After a grueling battle, the party defeats Harper and gains what looks like a simple, smooth stone. This is one of two tokens the party has to bring back to Chester to clear the first of the Trial of Five Fingers.
• That afternoon, the party sets out for Verbar Island to find and challenge the blacksmith, Marcus Malluse.

Day 232
• Sark was taught by Aeo to spell his favorite word: Mutilate.

Day 233
• Sark taught himself how to spell his own name.

Day 238
• The party arrives at Verbar Island and finds Marcus Malluse. After challenging him to a duel and defeating him, he gives the party another smooth stone. Marcus then explains that this stone, in combination with the other smooth stone, allows the two holders to communicate with each other at long distances. They are two in a set of Sending Stones. The party then decides to rest for the night before setting out for Lothair the next morning.

Day 239
• At first light, the party sets out for Lothair.

Day 246
• The party arrives at Lothair and goes straight to Chester to show him the Sending Stones that they received from their battles. He approves of the spoils, congratulating the party on their success (which he did not expect to happen).
• The party returns to Broken Spoke Tavern in Bervenia Port City to rest after their quests and wait for Chester’s next instructions.

Episode 11: Meet Chester
The Brave and Ko-bold

Day 193
• Tor wakes up from his sleep to find himself tied to Sark’s bed, his deceased friend placed on his bed. He only tells the party that his female shifter friend was in trouble, and he went to try and save her because she was like a sister to him. The party lets Tor have a minute with his friend, and then makes plans to bury her…

Day 200
• Sark receives a letter from Biff telling him that he has successfully completed the taxidermy on his severed dragon head. While he is there, Biff sells him a vile of Elixir of Dragon Breath. Sark then takes the dragon head back to his room to hang on his wall. Tor buys the other 2 jars of the potion.

Day 222
• The party wakes up to join Lt. Braga for a briefing on a new mission: putting a stop to a new threat of Kobold invasion. Braga informs the party that the goblin invasion on Ashburne has caused many of the Kobolds of that area to migrate to Lothair, making the number of Kobolds increase to about twice the size of the Lothair army.
• The party sets out to the cave, which they believe to be the lair of the new Kobold leader. After carefully moving through the cave, avoiding traps along the way, the party finds Chester Three-Tooth. Chester is revealed to be the Kobold that the party left behind during their encounter at Coppernight Hold. After careful negotiation with Chester, he agrees to let the party attempt to prove themselves worthy of Kobold assistance for protection against the goblin invasion via “ The Trial of Five Fingers”.
• The first trial the party has to face consists of defeating the Blademaster of Lamina Island and Marcus Malluse, the blacksmith on Verbar Island. In order to do so, the party is given a ship by Glenn Braga and they prepare for the journey ahead. Alexyn and Tor find Captain Michael and Roy working on their ship at the docks in Bervenia Port City. They are given some tips and sea charts that will make the trip significantly shorter.

Episode 10: Into Willoweave Forest
“Don't be a sap, we're not out of the woods yet.” Or “A sticky situation”

Day 192
• The party wakes to gather for breakfast, when Tor receives his meal with what looked like the ear of another shifter. Tor then goes missing, leaving the rest of the party to look for clues as to where he went.
• After searching for clues, one of which was left in Sark’s pocket by Tor himself, the party discovers that Tor may be in a nearby enchanted forest, the Willoweave Forest. Accompanied by Lt. Braga, the party sets out at once.
• As the party ventures through the forest, they encounter signs of struggle and unrest, one being the dead body of a young girl who hung herself.
• Eventually, the party encounters and defeats a group of spiders, which got the attention of an enormous spider. The party then made a deal with the enormous spider to leave his/her forest within an hour, with or without Tor.
• As they continued to move forward, the party finds Tor protecting the dead body of another female shifter and surrounded by a group of Drow, mages, and a young girl that is assumedly the new form of Zoldathra. The mages and the Drow vanish, leaving behind a summoned dragon. The party defeats the dragon.
• Tor seems to be driven mad, and the party is forced to take him and his passed companion by force back to Bervenia Port City. The party ties Tor to his bed for safety as he is unconscious, and the party stands watch over him for the night.

Episode 9: Nightmares in Ravenloft Manor (Part II)
Demons have bad manners.

Day 99 (cont.)
After Puck successfully defends himself against the demon in Death’s court, the party finds themselves rooting for Sark while he battles an engorged, zombie-fied version of his old nemesis, Bloodknuckles. To Zoldathra’s dismay, Sark bravely defeats Bloodknuckles. Zoldathra then decides to put Alexyn through a test of faith by forcing her to save her parents by curing a horde of zombies bent on killing them. Alexyn must choose to heal the zombies and continue to face death and disease or keep her curse and live oblivious to sickness and mortality. After Alexyn successfully saves her “parents,” the party must help Aeo fight Zoldathra, who was weakened by Aeo’s charmed orb. After a grueling battle, the demon was defeated in the dream-realm and the party was finally able to wake up and escape from it.

Day 189
The party wakes up from their encounters in the dream-realm to find that they have been moved to a ship by Ian Summerstorm and company. Mina tells the party that they have been in the dream-realm for three months, during which they had to be moved due to the Goblin invasion’s pillage of Ignas spreading throughout Ashburne. She also informs them that they have all made it safely back to Berevenia Port City in Lothair. The three monsters hand the party some parting gifts: Boots of Furious Speed, Bracers of Mental Might, and a Philosopher’s Crown. Braga hands each member of the party 300 gold for the successful completion of the Mr. Green mission. Later, Biff Sells Tor a Pincer Shield for Sark.

Episode 8: Nightmares in Ravenloft Manor (Part I)
Are you a man or beast?

Night 98
• When the party arrives to southern Ignas, as the sun is setting, they ask the townspeople where this “Ian” lives, and they are told that his name is Ian Summerstorm and he lives with Arthur Hudson in Ravenloft Manor.
• When the party arrives at the home of Ian Summerstorm, they are invited in by a strange voice. After the party cautiously enters the home, they are immediately attacked by a female ghost. During what seemed to be a futile fight, Ian storms into the house and puts the party to sleep.
• The party awakes in a small dungeon, but they are released to speak with the vampire host Ian Summerstorm, the materialized ghost of Mina Ravenloft, and Ian’s werewolf friend Arthur Hudson. Ian informs the party that Mina only attacked them because she sensed evil within them.
• Since Aeo was the only one of the party that was not cursed, due to the protective charm on his first orb that his father gave to him, Ian borrows the orb from Aeo, claiming that he can use the orb to make a solution to the curse. The party is then invited by Ian to join him for dinner while he tries to work on a solution.
• Ian, with the help of Mina, administers what they and the party believes to be the solution to the curse, but the solution seems to wear off immediately; a voice in heard in the heads of the party saying “We’ll just see about that…”
• Late that night, Aeo informs Ian that it was the demon of his past that cursed them and continues to follow them. Ian tells Aeo that he will think about this while attempting to come up with a solution.

Day 99
• Ian informs the party that in order to remove the curse, they will have to enter a dream-realm and face their fears, for it is those fears that the demon draws his strength from.
• Ian sets up the guest bedroom for the ritual, and the party enters the dream-realm.
• In the dream-realm, the party comes face-to-face with the demon that has been tormenting them.
• Tor is faced with a challenge that turns him into the prey of a hunt.
• Afterward, Zebadiah (a.k.a. Puck) is forced to defend himself in a trial for his life, with Death as the Judge and the Demon, named Zoldathra, as the Prosecutor.

Episode 7: Curses!
I get by with a little Elf and my friends.

Night 96
• Just as the party lies down to sleep for the night, the party hears an intruder outside of the campsite. It turns out that it is a little girl, with red hair and green eyes, holding a basket of lilacs which smells very sweet.
• The girl is possessed by the same demon that the party has encountered before, who is indeed the demon from Aeo’s past.
• The demon mentions wanting to have fun and play with nightmares. It looks deeply at each member of the party and says that it will grant their wishes.
• The demon casts a horrific illusion, vanishes, and leaves the party somehow in their tent as if nothing happened.
Day 97
• Aeo informs the party of his past involvement with this demon: that this demon killed his parents and tried to kill him, and that Aeo has been hunting this demon for a few years.
• The party embarks on their journey to the elven encampment, with Krellin sitting on the Kruthik Hive Lord Shell pulled by Sark.
• While the party is traveling to the encampment, they come across a large flock of birds lying dead on the ground.
• The party is somehow cursed into displaying odd characteristics, minus Aeo and Krellin.
• The party is then ambushed by the elves of the encampment. Zebadiah, who had revealed that he is a changeling and transformed from dwarf form to elf form, informed the soldiers/hunters that the party means them no harm.
• Krellin greets the captain of the group and the party is taken to the encampment.
• Throughout the day, the party explores the tribe’s tree canopy hideout and helps out with the tasks of the camp.
• The elves offer to ship the Kruthik Hive Lord’s shell to Biff so Tor doesn’t need to carry it around anymore.
• A great feast is held in honor of the party.
• The party then bunks up for the night to prepare for their journey to Ignas; they were told that someone there could lift their curse.
• The curse makes traveling back to Lothair with the elves very dangerous. The party must lift the curse and find a way back to Lothair on their own.

Day 98
• The elves teach Aeo a special ritual to stay warm in Ashburne: Endure Elements.
• When the party reaches Ignas, they find Sneaky Pete, their favorite deal-making Goblin. He claims to know someone that can lift the curses off the party. While the party tries to barter with Pete to get the name and location of this person, the goblin invasion hits the port city and the party is forced escape and take Sneaky Pete along to safety.
• The party makes their way out of the town safely with Sneaky Pete, and he thanks the party by drawing them a map to the location of Ian’s farm, the man who is able to remove the curses from the party.
• Sneaky Pete also throws Tor a Bag of Holding as thanks for the party saving his life.
• Inside the Bag of Holding, Tor finds a Foe Maker Longsword, Goblin Stompers, and an Amulet of Mental Resolve
